Well, remember the post from a couple weeks ago? (see happy spring) As I figured...that spring weather was too good to be true! The state of Colorado is under a Winter Storm or Blizzard Warning for the rest of today and into tomorrow.
Riley and I got up early to brave the snow on our way to MOPS...thankfully it was cancelled due to the weather. So, thought I would get a picture of Riley in her snow bundle. It is still a bit big for her, but better it be too big and snuggly warm than too small and cold!
It was waaayyy to windy for her to take a picture outside "in" the snow, so I took one of our car...you can kind of make out the sideways snowflakes...If the wind dies down I will try and get a shot of her actually in the snow :)

So many people ask me who do you think riley looks like? I usually say Dan, but then sometimes I see me...So, here are a few pics from the past...I'll let you be the judge! :)

 

It's a bird! It's a plane!

 

Nope! It's Dan's newly configured work truck...or more lovingly referred to as the Space Ship, meth lab, storm chaser, company provided hunting camper, and even The In-Law Guest Suite....It's nice to be out of the elements when working on meters, but not so nice when in a hurry or driving in windy conditions. I personally am waiting for the summer storms to come and see how many cars follow Dan; thinking he is a storm chaser!!!

Meet Elena...She is the daughter of my college roommate Jami, and will be our future babysitter :) She loves Riley very much...Riley loves all the attention she gets when Elena is around! Oh the fun they will have later!

Rough Day

 

Dan and Riley sure had a rough one last Tuesday....Dan was battling the high winds in his work truck ( I call it the space ship--I will post a pic later...) and well, Miss Riley Joanne had to get her 4 month shots... they looked so precious I just had to steal a pic before they woke up :)

The last two days have been exceptionally warm here in Colorado--the 70's even! Which doesn't happen very often. March is usually our snowiest month, so look for next weeks post--you may see Riley in her snowsuit!!
