Happy Birthday Leanna!
Monday was my sister Leanna's birthday, Happy Birthday! It was so fun to be able to hang out and celebrate her birthday at Mom's house while we were there visiting. As per tradition we had wheat thins and apple juice! Happy Birthday Lanna-Belle, we love you VERY much!
p.s. thank you Jerry for the super fabulous birthday cheesecake!! YUM!
VEGGIES!!!
While we were up at my mom and dad's my mom introduced Riley to some sweet potatoes...her first taste of veggies...I think she likes them!!! Gramma knows best!
DOCTOR Jory
WHOOHOO!!! My brother-in-law (my sister Lanna's husband) graduated this weekend with his Docotorate in Clinical Pshychology. He was the whole reason we made this adventerous trip to Wa/Or. We couldn't be more proud of him!!! Congratualtions DOCTOR JoJo! I am pretty postitive our family gave him many topics to write papers on...what family doesn't put their own "fun" in dysFUNction????
More time with Grammy
Family Tradition
It has become a family tradition that if you stay at Gram's and you are under the age of 3 you will take a bath in her sink. Grammy's little beach house only has a shower, so it became a tradition more out of necessity than anything else. But if you look on her wall, or any of our family photo's you will find pictures of each of us girls in Grammy's sink. Not to mention all of my nephews and nieces! So it was only fitting that while we were at Gram's Riley had a bath in her sink. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have the chance to give my very own daughter a bath in my Grammy's sink...ohhh God is Good.
extended family
Finally we got to catch up with Dan's family who live in Forest Grove, OR. Aunt Marlene, David and Diane and even Christie with her precious little boys! Our visit was too short but wonderful. We had some good laughs, good food, and a great time. Hope to see you again soon!
